The Role

CURA is evolving its approach to student recruitment and is seeking an Admissions Team Leader to help deliver ambitious UK and international recruitment goals.

Reporting to the Senior Admissions Manager, you will lead a part of the admissions process, ensuring teams are resourced effectively—particularly during peak periods—and delivering a smooth, positive applicant experience. You’ll collaborate with colleagues across the UK and overseas, as well as with wider University Group teams and external partners.

You will be accountable for team performance, SLAs, and continuous improvement of admissions operations, fostering a high-performing, customer focused culture.

What You’ll Do

•    Lead and motivate admissions teams to deliver SLAs, targets, and excellent service.
•    Oversee a key aspect of the UK and/or international admissions process.
•    Deploy team resources flexibly to manage demand peaks.
•    Drive process improvements and operational efficiency.
•    Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.

Our Successful Candidate

They will have worked in process driven, customer focused settings and will be confident managing complex customer journeys from end to end.

Comfortable reporting against key metrics, they will be able to present insights clearly to peers and stakeholders. With strong decision making skills—even when processes are not fully defined—they will thrive in a fast paced, service oriented environment.

Excellent IT proficiency, strong numeracy, meticulous attention to detail, and a genuine commitment to delivering exceptional customer service are essential attributes for success in this role.
