Competitive starting salary range from £57,696 up to £61,198 pro rata (dependent upon experience) with the potential to progress. A discretionary range for candidates with exceptional experience can be discussed/considered.

The Role
As the Chiropractic Curriculum Lead you will lead the development and subsequent instigation of the MChiro degree programme at Coventry University. The proposed course has successfully completed it stage 4 approval event with the General Chiropractic Council (GCC) and aims to launch in September 2025.
Your role will be to complete the finer details of the module and course design following the guidance and recommendations of the GCC to obtain final approval internally and externally. As we are seeking a practitioner (or practitioners) who may have no experience in an academic environment you would be guided in regard to the academic regulations associated with these tasks by an appropriate member of the school or college leadership team
You will then lead the operational elements of the day to day running of the course (inc. resourcing equipment, setting up and management of the clinic, staffing and timetabling). Again, where appropriate support will be provided with initial training and guidance from within the college.
As a Curriculum Lead you will have responsibility for the development, preparation, and delivery of your own teaching material.
Contributing to the wider student experience through a wide range of approaches to support our student needs, this role will also undertake leading and supporting School based initiatives projects.

We are seeking an accredited practicing chiropractor who strives to deliver the education to the next generation of members to continue the profession. You will have a passion to deliver teaching excellence in a modern university environment.
The successful candidate will be expected to still practice in clinics around their commitments to the university or have or close to retirement (and therefore seeking a part time role).
If appropriate this post could be further split into a job share depending on applicants.
You will be driven by a commitment to deliver high quality services to students, or relevant equivalent customer base in an industrial setting.
The ability to support and contribute to the development and delivery of curriculum and professional learning and development programmes, transnational education partnerships and international commercial projects is required for this role.
