The Role
Are you passionate about encouraging positive employee relations and ensuring fair practices within an organisation? We are looking for a dedicated Employee Relations Specialist to join our team and help us maintain a transparent and supportive work environment. Key Responsibilities:
- Guidance and Support: Serve as a point of contact for the People Partnering Team, providing guidance on implementing employee relations policies, procedures, and frameworks.
- Policy Development: Collaborate with the appropriate stakeholders to review, update, and create employee relations policies, standards, and procedures.
- Training and Development: Design, develop, and deliver training and communication interventions to ensure the People Team is up-to-date with the latest legislation and best practices.
- Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities to enhance employee relations practices through internal diagnosis, process reviews, and external research.
- Project Management: Manage and deliver employee relations projects, working closely with the People Partnering team and other stakeholders.
- Data Analysis: Oversee the employee relations tracker, providing regular data and analysis to highlight areas of concern and support remedial actions.
- Tribunal Support: Provide support on complex Employment Tribunal cases, including drafting responses and witness statements
Our Successful Candidate
The organisation is multifaceted and employs people in over 20 countries. It would be great if you have some experience in International employment, but it is not essential. Here in the UK, we collaborate with our Trade Union colleagues on a regular basis, experience in developing and agreeing recognition agreements and conducting negotiations is welcomed.
You will have operational experience of working within a HR Advisor role in a large complex matrixed organisation and will have a background in researching and writing HR policies and procedures using up to date theoretical and practical knowledge in employee relations and associated legislation.
