This position is based in Coventry University Corporate Services, a sister company of Coventry University. 

The Role

 

The Accounts Receivable Team is responsible for the management of the Accounts Receivable ledger, ensuring timely cash collection and resolution of issues and queries and account reconciliation. This team sits within the wider Global Financial Operations team within Finance.

 

Main Duties include:

 

•    Liaise with debtors through appropriate communication channels as required.
•    Maximise cash collection; reduce and maintain aged debt.
•    Assisting with the management of the flow of data between the University and the SLC ensure all relevant data is shared as required and funds are received for both the University Group and its students.
•    Run regular Accounts Receivable reports to identify and prioritise debtors.
•    Create payment plans on the appropriate system and update financial records accordingly.

Our Successful Candidate

 

The successful candidate will demonstrate credit control experience, alongside experience of working with large databases. 

 

Good working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Excel and Word are required, alongside high level of accuracy and attention to detail. 

 

You will also demonstrate strong customer support skills and the ability to work with people at different levels whilst providing a consistent level of service.
