The Role

As Knowledge Exchange Executive, you’ll sit at the heart of our Enterprise & Innovation Organisation, helping businesses, researchers and funders work together on impactful projects. You’ll lead and support Knowledge Exchange programmes, including Knowledge Transfer Partnerships (KTPs) — where talented graduates and academics help organisations solve real challenges.

This is a role with visible impact. You’ll help businesses innovate, support researchers to go further, and contribute to projects that boost productivity, sustainability and growth. Your role is part relationship-builder, part opportunity-spotter, part project-driver. You’ll develop partnerships, secure funding, write strong bids, promote opportunities, and act as a trusted first contact for new collaborators. No two days are the same — and that’s exactly the point.

This role directly supports our 2030 Strategy, driving enterprise, research impact and innovation at local, national and global levels.
