The Role

 

People are at the core of our continued success and to support this, we are seeking a People Assistant to join the team.

 

As a People Assistant, you will be reporting to a People Partner and supporting a number of colleagues within the People (HR) Team. This role is central to delivering professional, timely, and customer-focused HR support for the Partnering team, our professional services business areas and in collaboration with our Centres of Expertise (CoE’s), will help to resolve a range of employment queries. You’ll be a trusted advisor, guiding managers and employees through a range of employee relations (ER) and lifecycle matters, from performance management to sickness and employee relations casework, as well as supporting People Partners and People Advisors with more complex ER casework and organisational change programmes, ensuring the accurate and timely production of documentation and wider co-ordinational support.

Our Successful Candidate

 

You will be educated to A level or equivalent and have experience of working within HR, having knowledge of employment law and HR best practices. You will be passionate about customer service, be a confident communicator and enjoy the challenge of working to rapidly changing priorities. Being proactive, flexible and with excellent organisational and administration skills are key as is the ability to manage a varied workload with competing priorities within required timeframes.
