The Role
A vacancy for a part time (0.50fte) Research Project Manager has become available within Research Services. This is an exciting opportunity to work with many academic researchers, across different disciplines.
This vacancy will have a particular focus on supporting the academic researchers in our health research centres, which include research activity in life sciences, sports & exercise sciences, healthcare technology and community healthcare which includes our successful working partnership with the regional NHS Trust, University Hospital Coventry & Warwickshire.
You will be responsible for overseeing and managing a large portfolio of research projects with various funding contracts, including, for example, UKRI, International partners, EU, NHS Trusts and Commercial entities.
Our Successful Candidate
Given this varied funding portfolio, the successful candidate will already have experience of; working with different funders, engaging with external stakeholders, managing competing demands and have a proven track record of project managing large and/or complex projects successfully.
Being an enabler to research activity is a team objective, so a strong customer focus will be required as well as the ability to actively engage with an array of internal and external stakeholders on a day-to-day basis to achieve successful outcomes.
You will be joining a friendly and supportive team that sits within Research Management, Administration and Projects, that is one department within the University’s Research Services & Doctoral College unit.
