The Role
This role is base in Delhi, India.
The post holder will contribute to the efficient and effective administration of a busy Accounts Payable Team within the Finance department. You will provide excellent customer care to suppliers, staff and students, resolving queries in a helpful and efficient manner.
As a team member you will be expected to work with minimal supervision, use your initiative to resolve and respond to queries and prioritise your work to meet team, month end and year end deadlines.
Main Duties include:
- Process all payment documentation on a daily basis, this includes supplier invoices, student tuition and accommodation refunds.
- Respond to all enquiries and provide a professional service to staff, students and suppliers.
- A good telephone manner is essential to ensure that excellent customer service is provided at all times.
- This role requires a high level of attention to detail with accuracy of data essential, ensuring compliance with the University’s policies and procedures.
- Challenge any situation that may result in a payment risk to ensure best practice is applied at all times.
- Identify, support and implement process improvements in an everchanging environment.
This office based role requires you to work in conjunction with the UK Finance Team, Monday to Friday 11:30am to 8:00pm local time.
Our Successful Candidate
You will have experience of working in a payment processing environment, alongside experience of working with large volumes of data.
Good working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Excel and Word are required, alongside high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
You will have previous experience of working in a process-driven environment and a face paced team, where you are required to be accurate, methodical, organised and flexible.
You will also demonstrate strong customer support skills and the ability to work with people at different levels whilst providing a consistent level of service.
