CU Recruitment and Admissions Limited (part of the Coventry University Group) is building a new approach to student recruitment and Sponsorship Compliance, establishing strategies that position Coventry University Group as a dominant local, national and international recruiter.  

The Role

In this role, you will lead a team of Audit and Enrolment Specialists to deliver a high-quality, efficient, and customer-focused enrolment and audit preparation service. Reporting to the Associate Director for Sponsorship Compliance and Quality Assurance, you’ll play a crucial role in ensuring compliance with UKVI regulations and contributing to a smooth student journey from CAS issuance to enrolment.

 

Your team will support essential pre-enrolment functions including Right to Study (RTS) checks, fraud prevention, and the preparation of audit-ready documentation. You will ensure processes are robust, turnaround times are met, and service standards are consistently high.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the day-to-day work and performance of Audit and Enrolment Specialists, ensuring timely, accurate, and compliant decision-making aligned with UKVI and University policies.
  • Oversee the enrolment process within SCQA, resolving issues, support on exceptional enrolment appeals, and working with conversion - supporting students through their pre-arrival journey.
  • Lead on CAS-to-enrolment tracking and compliance document management.
  • Deliver specialist advice and act as the first senior point of contact for complex or borderline enrolment decisions.
  • Monitor KPIs and service performance, ensuring targets are met and that processes reflect best practice.
  • Represent CURA at enrolment meetings and collaborate with internal teams, including Admissions and Registry, to align enrolment activities across the University Group.
  • Produce and analyse enrolment and compliance data, supporting audit readiness and informing strategic improvements.
  • Deliver training and guidance to colleagues across CURA and the wider University Group on enrolment and compliance best practice.

We’re seeking a dynamic and detail-orientated individual with experience in student enrolment, compliance, or a related area within Higher Education. You will have strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and guide a team to meet high standards. You should posses excellent communication, organisational and problem-solving abilities, with a customer-first mindset whilst also providing exceptional support to students and stakeholders. Experience of using systems for document management, data analysis and reporting is essential.
