The Role
Coventry University Group’s Registry is dedicated to supporting students through their academic journey, from their first enrolment to their last graduation, wherever they may be in the world. We are expanding our administration team who provides support to our college/school based registry teams. This opportunity is ideal for anyone looking to start a career or take the next step in your professional administration career. As a Registry Officer you will provide support across a varied portfolio of courses, managing student record information, supporting staff and students and offering expert guidance from enrolment to graduation and beyond. In addition, you will be required to arrange and prepare for Assessment Boards and associated quality and moderation processes. This will include supporting the work of the Chair and External Examiners and assisting with preparations for formal assessments.
Structured training plans will complement hands-on practical experience, and you’ll work alongside a diverse range of colleagues at a variety of levels as your career develops. With a wide range of teams and functions within Registry – from supporting students through enrolment to celebrating their graduation – there is tremendous scope for our Registry Officers to experience all aspects of business administration in this role.
This role will be based at our London Liverpool Street Campus (Coventry, University London, University House, 109 - 117 Middlesex Street, London, E1 7JF)
Our Successful Candidate
You will be educated to A-level or have equivalent qualifications and/or experience with good GCSEs in English and Maths at grade c or above.
You will experience of delivering excellent customer service and support and basic administrative/office skills including knowledge of using of the Microsoft Office suite.
You will need to value attention to detail and accuracy, be comfortable working with colleagues in a team and be able to follow a schedule of tasks and work to deadlines.
