The Role
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Recruitment and Conversion Specialists to join our growing team in Milton Keynes.
You will be the first point of contact for individuals who have expressed an interest in studying one of our online degree programmes. Your role will involve engaging with prospective students over the phone, email, and social channels — providing friendly, informative, and supportive guidance that encourages them to take the next step toward enrolment.
This is a fast-paced, customer-focused sales environment where you will be responsible for:
• Making outbound calls to prospective students who have enquired about a programme.
• Building rapport and understanding everyone’s motivations and goals.
• Providing clear and accurate information about programmes, start dates, tuition fees, and application steps.
• Managing your pipeline of leads in the CRM system and following up promptly to maximise conversions.
• Meeting daily and monthly call targets while maintaining a high standard of customer experience
You will play a key role in helping prospective students make confident, informed decisions about their education and ensuring a seamless journey from enquiry to enrolment.
Our Successful Candidate
You are an enthusiastic and motivated communicator who enjoys speaking with people and helping them make important decisions. While experience in a sales or customer service environment is preferred, full training will be provided — making this an excellent opportunity for someone looking to start or build their career in student recruitment and higher education.
You will demonstrate:
• A strong customer focus and ability to build rapport quickly over the phone.
• Confidence in working towards daily and monthly targets.
• Excellent listening, questioning, and communication skills
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy when updating systems.
• A positive attitude, resilience, and the ability to handle objections professionally.
• Comfort using CRM systems and basic computer applications.
Previous experience in a call centre, telesales, or customer contact role would be an advantage, but the most important qualities are enthusiasm, professionalism, and a genuine interest in helping students succeed.
This role is based in Milton Keynes with a minimum of 4 days per week in the office.
