This role is based in Milton Keynes within Coventry University Online Learning, a sister company of Coventry University and part of the Coventry University Group. 

 

Coventry University Online Ltd (CUOL) is building a new approach to student recruitment to achieve stretching student recruitment targets, while establishing strategies that position Coventry University Group as a dominant local, national and international recruiter.

The Role

 

As Student Recruitment Team Leader you will provide outstanding management and leadership skills to the student recruitment and conversion teams, enabling them to meet ambitious student recruitment targets, including workload allocation, performance management, attendance, training and development. Our student recruitment and conversion teams are based in our Milton Keynes office therefore this role will also be based in Milton Keynes and will work closely with the team on a daily basis.

 
You will work with a number of internal teams to ensure a high quality student recruitment and admissions service as well as the Senior Management Teams within College/Campus, working to the college recruitment priorities as well as the Group wide UG and PG recruitment strategy for UK students. 

 

You will be responsible for maintaining strong customer and stakeholder relationships in a variety of key and emerging markets, engaging with prospects and applicants, current students, alumni, college and central recruitment teams. The Team Leader will identify future opportunities and use statistical data to identify recruitment trends for future college recruitment and conversion planning.

 
Working with the Admissions Manager you will arrange college training on admissions trends, changing qualifications and best practice in student recruitment and conversion to ensure college practices are able to respond to market and business needs.

 

Our Successful Candidate

 

Our successful candidate will be an experienced team manager, with the ability to supervise and motivate others. 

 

Ideally you will demonstrate significant experience of working in a recruitment and/or admissions role in a higher education sector, alongside strong networking, liaison and negotiation skills, both within and beyond an organisation.

 

You will be competent in using an array of tools (reports, statistics, briefings and discussions, qualitative and quantitative data) to source, assimilate, analyse and interpret information to provide forward planning, in addition to experience of managing budgets. 

 

This role also requires experience of delivering high quality services through excellent customer care Skills and practices.
